Nestled on 36 acres by way of a quiet, flowing creek and vintage barns, the Gathering Space adjoins the Historic 250 year old tavern built by Hendrick Appel in 1765.
The Appel Inn Gathering Space will provide the perfect atmosphere of graceful elegance to your special event.
The Appel Inn is family owned and operated providing a simply smooth experience. The Appel hosts only one event per day ensuring the spotlight is on you and your guests. The Gathering Space accommodates both small and large gatherings up to 175 comfortably.
Our setting allows for various environments - from the casual wedding, barbecue style, as well as formal champagne and white glove service.
We are here to help you create your day around your vision and dreams!
Whether you want your ceremony by the stream or in front of our fireplace - We can change to either location in a 10-minute window eliminating the stress of Northeast Weather.
Included in each ceremony: Seating, Seasonal Clear top Tent, -She-Shed, Choreographing, and Guidance so you just relax and Enjoy your moment.
We will take care of the details so you can focus on each other!
Hosting just one event per day allows you to truly relax and have time to enjoy family and friends. We do not want anyone to feel as if they are being rushed through.
Our Gathering Space is a year-round building offering in-floor radiant heat, air- conditioning, ceiling fans, and special needs accommodations.
We offer a unique "refined-barn setting " with all the modern conveniences, to be sure everyone is comfortable, regardless of the weather or the season.
We are also available for Corporate Retreats,
Birthday celebrations, Showers, Family Reunions and more!
For more intimate events, we will arrange a seating area around the fireplace to give the Gathering Space a more "oversized living room " intimate atmosphere.
